Statement

My work doesn't lead me to writing a statement but I do know that I am happiest when I am painting. Happy to be bringing illusions to life. Happy because I really love the very act of painting and drawing. I love tweaking space with form, color and texture. I love reference.

I love my life and my work. I make art, I design and produce books and I read history. I used to teach. I have a great wife and wonderful son. It is all in my painting.

If I am to be categorized I hope it's difficult.
